Meet Our Team of Independent Contractors
Licensed Aesthetician/ Laser Technician / Owner
I have been an aesthetician since 2004.
I love it when my clients say they see a difference, because we are our hardest critics. I enjoy working with many different skin conditions from acne to anti-aging. I try my best to make my clients feel relaxed and comfortable. My philosophy is rewind and maintain, you can't stop aging so why not do it gracefully.
I have been an electrologist for over 20 years. I studied at The Electrolysis Research Institute School of Electrolysis in Brookfield, WI. I am also a certified laser tech. I did laser for 14 years, which enhanced my knowledge and educated me more about other hair removal processes.
I decided to become an electrologist because of my past experiences as a client. I wanted to help people make a difference in their life, the way it helped me. The results are visible immediately. A hair-free more confident client is my goal. Along the way, I have become friends with the people I work on, which is one of my favorite parts of the job.
Your time is important and valuable. I will do my best to stay on time and will even get you in early, if I am ahead of schedule.
Come and see me! I promise to give you a clean slate.
I love my job, because I believe in it!
I graduated from Blue Sky in DePere, WI in 2010. This is my full time career. I have been full time since 2012.
This is the only career that has held my interest! I love the analytical part of it, the helping the body and mind feel better. I have worked on horses, dogs, cats and even a cow. . . also some pro athletes of various types.
Some of the other things I do are ride horses, spend time with my kids if they are available and am also learning how to camp. I also have my Mom live with me. She had a stroke in 2012 and I use my CNA experience with her, along with being a MT at a nursing home in Manitowoc. I also have an office in Manitowoc at the Uniquely You Hair Salon on Custer Street.
I hope to see new faces along with the fantastic people who I have been blessed to work on and with in the past and present.
Denise has a vast experience base in many different areas of medicine over decades. Since 2004 she has developed a passion for aesthetic and science based anti-aging products and procedures. "Helping people feel better about themselves is very gratifying" Denise says. Trained by Dr. Richard Parfitt, a double board certified facial plastic surgeon, she immerses herself in the study and practice of aesthetic procedures and holistic health. She comes highly recommended from her clients and associates as someone you can trust. "I spend a lot of time educating and consulting with my clients to make sure they trust me with the procedures we decide upon, then we take a conservative approach" Denise says. Whether it's Botox Cosmetic, Juvederm XC, Voluma, Lattisse, B12 injections, MicroNeedling or Cryo procedures, Denise looks forward to helping people look their best. However, true beauty happens within the body and is reflected in the skin, hair and overall appearance. With the addition of Kyani's "Triangle of Health" Denise helps her clients learn that if they feed their bodies correctly, their body will stay well and heal itself. This life changing and unique liquid formulation allows her clients to affordably take control of their own health and the health of those they care about. "There is no greater feeling than to leave people with information and products that will dramatically enhance their quality of life."
I started my career in this industry in 2005. I believe that what I do is not only an art, but it is a craft. I believe that education is a never ending process, especially in our industry. Fashion is forever changing, trends are always coming and going, and it is our job to stay on top of what is classic, timeless, new and on trend. I have traveled all over the United States for some of the best education the industry has to offer. For several years I was an educator for Bumble and Bumble which is where my love for the unguarded razor began. This is my favorite tool to use to give an absolutely seamless haircut. I have continued my education traveling to New York, Connecticut, Las Vegas, Chicago, Dallas and now our new found home of Miami with R+Co! I love more than anything when a client leaves my chair feeling refreshed with a renewed sense of confidence.
I'm Jessica. Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am from right here in Green Bay. As a highschooler at Ashwaubenon, I would've likely told you I planned to be and artist. When graduation approached, I decided I would indeed be both a painter and a sculptor. My medium would be hair. I've now been a stylist almost twenty years. I am one of those lucky people who get to do something they love as a career.
When I'm not behind the chair, I can be found hanging out with my lovely daughter and two spunky Boston Terriers. A favorite activity this year has been trips to the park with my daughter, working on her sliding skills. Soon to be sledding skills. The Boston's are just happy to get a walk around the neighborhood and find a sunny spot to lay in. Personally, I enjoy reading, cooking, fashion and embracing that crunchy mom lifestyle. Professionally, my passions are hair painting, styling and formulating the perfect toner!
Licensed Massage Therapist
As a graduate of Blue Sky School I am Board Certified in of Professional Massage and Therapeutic Bodywork. Each session is customized to meet your relaxation and therapeutic needs. I integrate a variety of modalities in each session; such as mio-fascial release, pregnancy, trigger point therapy, Lymphatic Drainage and deep tissue massage to promote pain and tension relief and deep relaxation.
Originally from the Twin Cities, I began my beauty and wellness career in 2009 at the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis. Since then, I have been following my passion full time behind the chair. I have had the opportunity to work with awesome educators including Kevin Murphy, and those from Oribe and Aveda. I continue to explore and grow whenever possible. One of my greatest joys of being a stylist is learning the stories of every person who sits in my chair. Your story helps me create your look.
When I'm not in the salon, I enjoy spending time- especially at the cabin- with my husband and our three children. To unwind, I enjoy playing the piano.
Allow me to introduce myself as one of the newest additions to Arabella Spa and Salon!
My name is Jamie Holzem, and I am very excited to be part of this new salon family. In my over 14 years of experience, my greatest joy has been cultivating relationships with my clients and co-workers. During this time, I have devoted myself to personal growth (the Redkin exchange in New York, apprenticeship under a top local professional and too many classes and shows to mention) I have extra passion for fine and curly hair, and if you are looking for custom coloring, i would love to show you what show what I can do. During my "down time", I love relaxing with my family ( 13 year old daughter, and amazing husband Andrew), going on vacations and snuggling with my puppies, Annie and Charly. Give a call or stop in and say Hi...I cant wait to meet you and give that hair some love.
Licensed Aesthetician/Certified Lash Artist
I obtained my license in 2000 and have enjoyed being a part of this Industry ever since.
I strive to provide customized and results driven skin treatments to each of my guests while still making them feel completely relaxed.
I fell in love with lash artistry because of the instant and dramatic results that lash extensions provide. They can help make the eyes look natural but elegantly enhanced.
In addition to skincare and lashes, I also love providing waxing services and special occasion makeup.
Licensed Massage Therapist
I studied massage therapy and business at Globe University and obtained my board certification/state license in 2016.
My passion for massage therapy stems from a debilitating low back injury I struggled with. I wanted to avoid pain medication and looked for a more natural approach to pain management. I found that massage gave me a new outlook on how our bodies are very capable of healing without medication.
I love education my clients on the benefits of regular massage. I love learning new modalities through continued education and am excited to be able to offer new services such as body sculpting and body wraps.
More then anything, I am excited to offer flexibility in both treatment and scheduling to my clients.
